Andre Grant’s life took a dramatic turn from rock bottom when he was faced with a life-changing decision in the Navy. Battling years of abuse, addiction, and spiritual darkness, he chose a path that led to sobriety, faith, and a profound transformation. His story is one of resilience and the miraculous power of faith.
I came from a very abusive family. I experienced, physical, mental, emotional, sexual and spiritual abuse. This took me down a very dark path. It started when I was 5 years and the turning point started, right before turning 21.
My turning point was when I got in trouble because of my drinking, while in the Navy.
A year after starting down this new life, Jesus caught up with me.
In Matthew 18 and Luke 15, Jesus says He as the Shepherd will leave the 99 and go find the lost sheep. When we find ourselves lost, all we need to do is cry out to God, and He will find us.
The second major turning point is when I trusted two men in the church I was attending before I gave my life to Jesus:
1. The pastor who took me through the initial deliverance process and
2. The homeless minister who recommended I work through my hurts and pains so I could help others do the same.
That’s where things started for me 33 years ago. I’ve seen and experienced many miracles from God since then.
