I’ve spent the last six plus years learning things the hard way.
That method works best for me. But for most people: that path is hella frustrating.
Podcasting’s been amazing for me, and it’s been amazing for a lot of others.

Monetizing the Podcast
This is the recommended starting point. Most hosts go into podcasting looking for massive downloads and corporate sponsors, thinking that’s the only way to monetize. Fact is: it’s not. And of the ways to monetize, this one’s the slowest.
Instead: treat the podcast like a lead generation tool, and build great relationships with people who know, like and trust you, because of your podcast. Then sell to them!
Understanding how to create Value Stacks and Irresistible Offers before recording your first episode helps you be confident selling services later and know how to use the podcast as the powerful leadgen tool it’s capable of being. Starting here removes a TON of confusion.

Community Building
This might sound weird but: the end goal of a podcast isn’t to have a podcast. It’s to cultivate a community around you, your goals and your business. Instead of interviewing people, posting episodes and probably never speaking to the person again, cultivate a community and include them in it.
Every person that enters your community is one more step away from becoming a buyer, referral partner, ambassador or raving fan. And it doesn’t take a huge community to pull this off either – about 500 would do it, and they don’t all have to be guests on your show!
This workshop will teach you the key principles of community building that helps support your podcast and your business by filling it with the RIGHT people, in a way that’s easy on you and your constituents.
Launching the Podcast
If you’re ready to launch your first (or second, or third) podcast, this is the Workshop for you. I’ve personally tried dozens of things for all of my shows, and have found what works for me. But I’ve also determined why it works for me, and why other things would work well for other people–like you!
We’ll go deep into the tech, software, hardware, sound treatments, tools, equipment, and everything else for you to select your best loadout for your show. The best setup for you will be one that makes it easy for you, easy for your guests and easy for your fans to operate and support.
The easier it is on everybody, the easier it is to sustain your show and have be a powerful part of your business strategy.
Storytelling and Interviewing
When you’re not busy interviewing, that’s a great time to be interviewed. But can you tell a compelling story?
This workshop delves deep into the principles of Storytelling, and why skilling up in this area will make you a renowned podcast guest. The ability to tell a story that sticks, that creates lots of clippable soundbites, and keeps people listening with hungry ears is what will set you apart from the vast majority of podcast guests who get on and drone on about uninteresting facts.
There’s a reason why elders would sit around the community campfire and pass stories onto the younger generations, so that the wisdom wasn’t lost. That reason is: it frickin’ works. This workshop will get you on the path to mastering this skill and open up the way for you to have those same hosts guest on your show (if it’s a good fit!) and make it a two-way relationship building exercise.
Scaling and Systemizing
A good exercise to undergo with podcasting is, “what if I had to do 10x as much work ?” Would it make you crumple?
There’s such a thing as “premature automation,” and this workshop isn’t that. This is covering the key things you know will happen when maintaining your show: sourcing and screening guests, getting them scheduled, editing, publishing and promoting the episode, adding them to your CRM or community, and anything else on the way.
